Have Your Say: Share Your Experience of GP Services in Cornwall
We want to know what it’s really like for people across Cornwall when accessing GP services, and we need your voice to make change happen.

📊 Why This Matters
So far in 2025, 29% of all feedback we've received at Healthwatch Cornwall is about GP services.
Of that:
- 32% has been negative, with people reporting long waits, lack of access, or not feeling listened to.
- But 49% has been positive, showing that good care is possible, and we want to see more of it across Cornwall.
Sharing your experience, whether it’s positive, negative, or somewhere in between, can help improve GP care for everyone.

- Barriers to care, and how things could be better
We're especially keen to hear from people who face extra barriers to care — including carers, rural residents, digitally excluded individuals, and those who find it hard to get the support they need.

Who Should Take Part?
This survey is open to anyone registered with a GP practice in Cornwall - patients, carers, family members, or anyone who supports someone with health needs.
🗣 Why Your Voice Counts
Every response we receive helps us:
- Identify common barriers to care
- Share what's working well, and what’s not working well
- Make sure GP services meet the needs of everyone, no matter their background or circumstances
We’ll use your feedback to influence NHS decision-makers, improve access, and ensure GPs provide the right support at the right time.
Please pass it on to friends, neighbours, family members, or anyone who might have something to say.
The more voices we hear, the stronger the case for change. Together, we can build more accessible, inclusive, and responsive GP services in Cornwall.
Your responses will be completely anonymous and used to inform NHS and local GP leaders. Let’s work together to create a GP system that works for everyone.
