Why this research matters

We want to understand the real factors Cornish residents experience today:

  • Barriers to accessing care: How distance, cost and digital barriers prevent people from accessing care.
  • Navigating systems: How residents find out where to go for support.
  • Delays in receiving care: Understanding where delays happen and how they impact health and wellbeing.

This evidence will be used to drive real change and improve people’s experience of health and care across Cornwall.
