Learning Disability Partnership Board Working Group

We would like to thank those from the Healthy Cornwall / CHAMPs, Mid Cornwall Hub, Citizen Checkers, Disability Cornwall as well as representatives from Cornwall Council, NHS Cornwall & Isles of Scilly ICB and other organisations who attended our Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB) Working Group on Thursday 8th May, your ideas and suggestions will help improve what words and language are used in the LDPB Mission Statement and Charter so they can be understood by everyone.

We read through the LDPB Mission Statement and our board members with lived experience of learning disabilities told us which words may be difficult to understand, then suggested and agreed what words could be used instead. These changes and suggestions are vital in making sure that all documents and language used in all areas of the LDPB are easy for everyone to understand.
