Improvements made at RCHT Eye Unit following community feedback and consultation

Healthwatch Cornwall documents positive changes made which have improved service users experience at the facility
RCHT Eye Unit Improvements

The Eye Unit is one of the busiest services at Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust with over 16,000 patients seen between June-August last year alone, therefore it’s critical that the facility runs as smoothly as possible and can adapt and respond to a changing landscape and improve patient experience where possible.

We are thrilled to have been able to work constructively with senior members of The Eye Unit to help implement and document changes made in response to community feedback and ongoing consultations on the function of the facility, the findings from results and improvements implemented are being published here for the first time in the infographic below.

Your feedback and involvement really does make a difference and we’re excited to kick the new year off by announcing these fantastic improvements which are already having a positive impact, we hope this will be just the beginning and will continue into 2020 and beyond.
